Alderman Santiago co-sponsored a measure to waive city sticker fees for veterans of our armed forces, and it passed with overwhelming support.
“I take every chance to honor those who serve. As a former army reservist myself,” she said. “I also know every little bit counts. Anything we can do to help veterans and their families is much appreciated.”
The City Clerk’s Office issues city stickers and will implement the program. Stay tuned for the official announcement!
