After some tumultuous threats from Washington, we are proud to say the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is still the law of the land! Through the ACA 1.2 million Illinois residents including 300,000 Chicago are now insured. Chicago hit a record low of 9.6% of individuals who do not have insurance. We are proud of the progress we've made, but there's still more to do. We need to continue to lower the number of uninsured Chicagoans.
