Midway Shredding will be be setting up a free shredding station at our Ward Office parking lot located on 2505 N. Pulaski Rd. on Saturday, September 16, from 9am until 12pm. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, residents can bring any paperwork or documents such as bank statements, old pay stubs and receipts, or tax returns. Please make sure the documents are free of any paper clips, binders, or anything else that will obstruct or harm the shredding machine.

On Monday, August 21st, from 3pm until 6pm, the 31st Ward Office will be hosting an informative workshop for residents that may have questions about filing a property tax appeal. This workshop is brought to you by the Cook County Commissioner Luis Arroyo, Jr.'s office who will be present to provide information on property tax appeals, as well as the Heartland Institute of Financial Education. Attention parents and incoming students! Our office is hosting our third annual Back to School Fair August 19 10am-2pm at Schubert Elementary School. In collaboration with Cook County Commissioner Luis Arroyo, Jr., State Representative Luis Arroyo, Sr., and the Northwest Side Housing Center, residents can take advantage of various goods and services available to them. We will be having a Bounce Castle, food, games, as well as free school supplies and materials!
